Yaquina Head Lighthouse

Yaquina Head Light Station was built in 1872 and operated by the U.S. Lighthouse Board, afterward called the U.S. Lighthouse Service. The Lighthouse Service was abolished in 1939, at which time the U.S. Coast Guard took over operations.  Learn more…
